Over the years his time spent between Austin, Texas, and the Navajo Reservation in Tsaile, Arizona, profoundly influenced his worldview, instilling a deep respect for people and a gratitude for life’s experiences. Originally from Lubbock, Texas, John holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Anthropology from Texas Tech University. His professional journey encompasses roles in musical instrument sales, high-tech marketing, and studio work, collaborating with renowned establishments such as Goodnight Audio and Terra Nova Digital Mastering. Academically, John has engaged in graduate studies in Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin and has served as an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. These diverse experiences converge to inform his multifaceted approach to music and artistry.
