While I did grow up in the panhandle of Texas, I didn’t listen to country music and grew to adulthood ignorant about the workings of the genre. During 2025, I became interested in Country music and wrote over 20 songs, often basing them on humorous sayings, quotes and circumstances that appeared.

My natural West Texas dialect helped immensely with the lyrics and phrasing. Here are 10 of the songs for you to listen to. These are not “hand-made” tracks like my other compositions, but are in this ‘demo’ form for other musicians and artists to use as a start so that they can personalize these tracks when recording them. These are not released versions, but contact me if you want to cover some of them.
